The Federal Period of lighting (circa 1700 to 1810) was during the Founding Father's Architectural era. These handcrafted lanterns hung on early public buildings, colonial style homes and plantations. All of our handcrafted lanterns are made of a heavy gauge copper or brass with cast brass structural supports (no punch riveting, all hand-soldered, no steel parts).
